Welcome to Bizarre Police Chronicles

Mother Becomes Sidewalk Terrorist On Four Wheels!

A woman from Durham , North Carolina was running late one morning and she ran into a major traffic jam while trying to get her children to school. She wasn't about to let anything or anybody get in her way. She was not going to be late no matter what.

She decided that the road was for everybody else and not her. She then proceeded to drive up on the sidewalk and into the front yards of the houses facing the road. The heck with the traffic jam, she wasn't going to be late for the school bell.

A woman police officer saw what the lady driver was doing and was able to get in front of the car to stop it. When the officer leaned in through the car door to speak to this impatient driver, the driver told the officer in not so kind words, that she was running late and didn't have time to talk or to be bothered by what the officer had to say. The driver then proceeded to speed away, but took no caution as to the lady officers safety. As the car sped away, the officer got her hand hung up in the seat belt and was dragged for almost ten feet before she was thrown from the car.

The driver continued to speed away and was persued by another officer. The chase ended when the lady driver reached her destination in front of the elementary school. She was going about 75 miles per hour during the chase.

Needles to say, the woman was arrested and charged with numerous traffic violations and charges in connection to endangering the life of the officer and the lives of others that got in the path of her speeding car.
